what is KAKIOROSHI?

He writes impromptu messages for people by receiving some inspiration from them on the spot while looking into their eyes. Terakichi expresses something he feels in a personfs inner self in the form of calligraphy, using both his hands ambidextrously.

Generally calligraphy is for people to enjoy writing and appreciating the style or the form of each letter. Terakichifs gkakioroshih type of calligraphy contains inspired messages drawn from the immediate person before him. His words are full of gentleness and warmth, and they will not only gently envelop you but also give you power to live.

He does gKAKIOROSHIh not only on Japanese paper'washi' in several sizes, but even uniquely on kimonos, sliding doors in Japanese inns, and cars. In addition, he writes for welcome boards for weddings, name plates, memorial messages for family members, restaurant signs and other stores, product packages, business cards, fliers, and others by requests.

who is TERAKICHI?

In March 2006, he started to do gKAKIOROSHIh on the streets. His popularity has spread among people since then, and his performance drew attention from the media and was later featured in various programs. He now goes everywhere in Japan for lectures and gkakioroshih.

He has a lot of fans from every generation. In every event, people form long lines, and some of them are moved to tears by his message which is written just for each person. Currently he holds exhibitions, lecture meetings and other various events in department stores abroad as well as in Japan.

In the Japan Exposition held in Los Angeles, the lecture meetings and events around Japan, Terakichi has done gKAKIOROSHIh, or written impromptu messages in calligraphy for about 40,000 people.
